Winter is just around the corner, but the cold weather has already kicked in! So if you've been looking for some new ways to keep warm this season, here are three tips to help:

Tip #1: Light a Fire!

If you have a fireplace, now is the time to start using it! Not only is it a great way to keep your home warm, but it's also cozy and inviting. Sit down with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the ambiance of a roaring fire. Just be sure to clean your chimney before you light that first fire of the season.

Tip #2: Use Your Cozy Blankets and Fuzzy Socks

There's nothing better than snuggling up under a cozy blanket when it's cold outside. And don't forget about your feet! Make sure you have plenty of fuzzy socks to keep them warm all winter. You can even put them in the dryer for a few minutes before putting them on to really take the chill off.

Tip #3: Schedule HVAC Maintenance

If you have a central heating system, it's important to have it serviced before the cold weather hits. A qualified technician will clean and inspect your system to make sure it's in good working order. This will help prevent any surprises when you turn on your heat for the first time this winter. Plus, it's always cheaper to fix a problem before it becomes a full-blown emergency.

There are lots of ways to stay warm this winter, but these are just a few of our favorites. So curl up with a good book, take advantage of that fireplace, and enjoy the season!
